Money is not just math - it is feelings too! This activity sheet helps young children connect their emotions to everyday money moments, building the emotional intelligence that leads to confident, thoughtful money decisions for life.

Your child looks at four real-life money scenarios, saving, spending, sharing, and running out, then draws a face inside the circles to show how each one makes them feel, and circles the emotion word that fits best. At the bottom, they reflect on their favorite money feeling.

Perfect for ages 3 to 8. Younger children can draw simple faces with your guidance, while older children can circle the emotion words and talk through why they feel that way.

How to use this activity:
  1. Print the sheet at home on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.
  2. Read each scenario card aloud with your child.
  3. Ask: "How would you feel if this happened to you?" and let them draw a face in the circles.
  4. Help them circle the emotion word that matches best.
  5. Use the reflection line at the bottom to spark a conversation about their favorite money feeling and why.
What your child will learn:
  • Money decisions come with feelings, and that is completely normal
  • How to pause and name their emotions before acting on them
  • The difference between how saving, spending, sharing, and running out of money each feels
  • That even when money runs out, they have the power to earn more
This activity sheet is a great companion for all of our financial literacy books, perfect for bringing the lessons to life at home.
