Myha Le is a children’s author and advocate for early financial literacy, on a mission to help families raise confident, money-smart kids.
She grew up in a home where money was never talked about. Without guidance, she had to figure everything out on her own as an adult, learning through mistakes that cost time, money, and unnecessary stress. That experience shaped her belief that financial education should start early and feel simple, not overwhelming.
When Myha became a mother, she made a promise that her son would have a different experience.
At just three years old, her son Adam began learning the foundations of money through three simple ideas: save, spend, and share. These small, consistent lessons grew into habits, and those habits became a strong financial foundation.
Because he started early, Adam was able to open retirement and investment accounts at a young age, giving him the greatest advantage of all: time. Over time, compound interest began to work in his favor, allowing his money to grow alongside him instead of chasing it later in life.
Today, he is a student at UC Berkeley and is on track to retire by 45. More importantly, he has the freedom to choose how he wants to give back to the world.
This belief in starting early is the foundation of the Money Adventures Series, including Luna’s Three Money Jars and Ethan Earns His Rocket Ship. Through simple, relatable stories, Myha helps families introduce money concepts in a way that feels natural, joyful, and easy to apply.
In addition to her books, Myha provides free resources to support parents in starting these conversations at home, because she believes every child deserves the opportunity to build a strong financial foundation.
