Start money conversations with a story.

You do not need the perfect words. But your child is already learning how money feels, from what you say in the checkout line and what you avoid saying.

One good story together is the easiest place to begin.

Children do not inherit money beliefs. They absorb them.

Your child is learning about money right now. Long before anyone sits them down to teach them. They learn from what they see. They learn from what you say. They learn that adults sometimes worry about money, even when nobody says a word.

And a story makes it easier to start.

Buy a Book, Give a Book

We believe every child deserves the chance to learn about money, no matter their background. That is why for every book purchased, we donate one to a child in a low-income community.

When you shop with us, you are not just teaching your own child. You are helping another family start their financial literacy journey, too. Thank you for being part of something bigger.

Most money books teach kids how money works. I teach parents what to say.

I have two boys, Andrew and Adam, and they do not learn the same way at all. Adam asks a hundred questions. Andrew is autistic, so we used fewer words and things he could hold. Teaching them both taught me more than any book I read.

Before I wrote books, I spent twenty years in human resources. I sat with adults through paychecks, benefits, retirement plans, and real financial decisions. Smart, capable people who were still figuring money out for the first time, because nobody had ever explained it to them.

I grew up the same way. So did most of us.

I did not want that for my boys. I do not want it for yours.

Money is never just money. It shapes how a child dreams, gives, works, and lives.

That does not start in a classroom. It starts in the grocery store, at your kitchen table, and at bedtime. One small conversation at a time.

So I write simple stories that give a family a reason to talk about money, and give a parent the words to use.

Over ten thousand of my books are in the hands of young readers now. I would love for your child to be next.
