EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR BANKERS
Education Program for financial education leaders
Give your bankers a money lesson young kids will remember.
We give you everything you need to run the program. All your bankers and volunteers need to do is read to kindergarten classrooms and hand books to the member families they serve.
Luna's Money Conversation Program gives them a picture book, a 30 minute lesson they can teach without prep, and a parent letter that keeps the money conversation going at home.
- For kids ages 3 to 8
- For classrooms and member families
- Classroom sets from 30 copies

Your bankers know money. Teaching it to six year olds is different.
Your bankers show up ready to help. But a room of young kids needs a story, an activity, and a simple plan, and building that from scratch takes time no one has.
A ready to teach lesson.
One picture book, a 30 minute banker lesson guide, and take home printables for every child. Your bankers open the guide and teach.
Does this sound like you?
- ✓"My bankers know money. A room full of six year olds is another story."
- ✓"I need the book and the lesson plan ready, simple to follow."
- ✓"I want the lesson to reach parents, not stop at the classroom door."
- ✓"We send out hundreds of books, and I never know if the lesson makes it home."
If you checked even one, I built this program for you.
Who it helps
One book and one simple idea, SAVE, SPEND, and SHARE, that works for everyone in the room.
A lesson with no prep
Every step and every question is printed in the guide, with times for each part.
An idea they can use
Three jars are simple enough for a young child to remember and act on.
Words for home
Parents get the book and a letter with simple things to say about money that night, from a bank or credit union they already trust.
Your name in the book
For 1,000 copies or more, the Custom Program puts your message, logo, and program inside every book.
Research from the University of Cambridge (Whitebread and Bingham, 2013) found that by about age 7, the basic patterns behind adult money behavior are typically in place. Your bankers reach kids in that early window.
The 30 minute lesson
Written for bankers, not teachers. No classroom experience needed.
Read
Read Luna's Three Money Jars aloud to the class.
Talk
Five stop and ask questions, printed right in the guide.
Color
Kids color Luna and her SAVE, SPEND, and SHARE jars while they talk about their choices.
Take home
Each child takes home a coloring page and the parent letter.
"Luna has three jars: SAVE, SPEND, and SHARE. If you got one dollar today, which jar would you put it in?"
Every child gets to answer, and there is no wrong answer. That is what makes it stick.

Why I built this program
Before I wrote children's books, I spent more than twenty years in human resources, sitting with adults through paychecks, benefits, retirement plans, and real financial decisions. Many were capable people who had never been given calm, clear language for money.
You and your bankers are already doing the hard part: showing up for kids and families in your community. I want to make that time easier for you and longer lasting for the kids.
Every word a parent says about money becomes part of their child's money story.

FAQs
What ages is this for?
Kids ages 3 to 8. The lesson guide is written for preschool through 2nd grade.
Do our bankers need teaching experience?
No. The guide gives them every question and every step, with times for each part.
Can we copy the printables?
Yes. Every order includes the right to print the worksheets, coloring pages, and parent letter for your program.
How does the Custom Program work?
For 1,000 copies or more, you send your message, logo, a short note to families, and a few lines about your program. I add your pages to the book, design your custom printable, build your family page with the QR code, and send you proofs of everything to approve before printing.
How long does a Custom Program order take?
Plan on about 12 weeks from your order to delivery:
2 weeks to design your pages and get your approval.
8 weeks to print the books.
2 weeks to pack and ship the books to you.
How do payments work?
A 50% deposit places your order, and the other 50% is due at delivery. I send a written quote and invoice for both.
Do discounts add up across separate orders?
No. Your discount is based on the number of books in one order that prints and ships together. Our pricing comes from the size of each print run, so separate orders are priced on their own.
Can our bankers give books to member families too?
Yes. Many programs read in classrooms and also give books to parents at branches, member events, or when a child opens a first savings account. Every book can go home with the parent letter.
What is the smallest order?
30 copies, enough for a classroom set. A single branch can order a set for its member families.
